"Applications for Cohort Two close 27th Sept and the virtual/ in-person (UK-based for any in-person elements) accelerator will run Q1 2021. 

"We’re looking for anyone building sustainability-focused (ideally software) products applicable to the civilian aerospace market. We’re especially interested in Industry 4.0, Energy and Operational Resilience (think COVID recovery) businesses/ products. 

"We offer a £100k SAFE from Boeing’s corporate VC, a 12-week accelerator and lots of aerospace/ industry access."

With the need for ever smarter and greener forms of air travel growing, BAE Systems is developing technology for the next generation of electric urban mobility aircraft. 

Boeing portfolio company Reaction Engines is building engines that can operate at dizzying speeds, under conditions that would melt existing jet engines. The firm wants to reach hypersonic velocity, around 4,000mph (6,400km/h) or Mach 5.

Alta offers a free, innovative, online mentoring platform to professional women in aerospace and aviation who are seeking woman-to-woman mentoring support and easy access to professional women working in the sector.
