Round up of the Kuwait Cyber Security Hackathon 🤖
We partnered with CODED and the Kuwait Digital Startup Campus (KDSC) to deliver the Kuwait Cyber Security Hackathon at Kuwait University’s Shadadiya Cultural Center under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior.
The event brought together a talented mix of beginners and seasoned professionals, who collaborated in groups to tackle cybersecurity challenges 🚀
Nichola Bates, AX Managing Partner, Stephanie Shaar, AX Events Manager, and Matt Briggs, AX Head of Partnerships, were on the ground for the event. They connected with participants and highlighted how the KDSC supports those looking to turn their skills into startup ventures. 🙌
Nichola said 💬 "It's been an incredibly exciting day! It's clear to see how much talent there is here in Kuwait, and it's very encouraging to speak with so many people who are interested in starting their own businesses. We're delighted to be able to offer support to help these individuals get their business ideas off the ground and to play our part in supporting a new generation of Kuwaiti tech startups!"
