Aerospace Xelerated hosted the Striking For Balance - Leading Women in Tech virtual event for International Women's Day. The event was a fantastic celebration of women in tech, bringing together a diverse and talented group of female founders and operators to share their experiences, challenges, and successes.
We were joined by a stellar lineup of panellists, including Dr Olivia Stodieck - Founder of Dapta Ltd, Kanchana Gamage - Founder of Aviatrix Projects, Elif Pekçetin - Founder of Felix International, Vinthujah B. - Founder of Startup Playground and moderator Veena Rao - Strategy Analyst at AX! Each of these women shared their journey and advice, providing valuable insights and inspiration for all attendees.
Spotlight Series - Women in Tech
In celebration of International Women’s Day, we spotlighted women in #tech who are empowering the next generation of female #entrepreneurs across the world. CEO & Founder of Takalam, Khawla Hammad, shares the story that drove her to create an award-winning UAE-based online counselling platform for mental well-being.

We also had the pleasure of interviewing Miriam Huijser, Co-founder & CTO of portfolio company Aiir Innovations. We are proud to recognise the incredible achievements of women all around the world, and we wanted to take this opportunity to highlight the amazing work of one of our own.
In this interview, Miriam discussed the challenges and successes she's experienced throughout her career, including how she became involved in the aerospace industry, her passion for innovation, and her vision for the future. Her inspiring story serves as a reminder of the incredible talent and expertise that women bring to the field.
